Before the performance, the fourteen year old teenager from Dnipropetrosk said: "I came to the project to be myself. My life is hard because I’m not like others. I can go down the hall and hear “you're ugly”, "girlish" "behaving yourself like a girl." Music is my way of self-realization, I want to make the world a better place where people stop scowling at people with different skin color or different ethnic groups. This song means a lot to me".

"Tina Karol, a team supervisor which includes Nikita, said: "This is a boy who wants to prove something to himself, the world, the universe and we’ll try ...".

Natalia Mohilevska asked, "Why don’t you make friends with boys?" the boy said, "Let's just say we have different interests." The offer of Potap to learn "something more masculine" was rejected by the boy.
