The Church of Scotland was split because of the ordination to the priesthood the gay
Church of Scotland should hold a meeting to discuss the priest who left the church with his parishioners after his ordination as a priest the gay.
Rev. Dominic Smart (Dominic Smart) and more than 300 members of South Church in Aberdeen Gilkomstona from February hold services in hotels. Last Sunday they had to hold it at the Copthorne, but the hotel canceled the service.
Reverend Smart and his congregation decided to leave the Church of Scotland, after much debate about the ordination of a priest in 2009, Scott Rennie (Scott Rennie), an open gay man to serve in Queens Cross Church, also in Aberdeen. Smart said that he had no choice and could only leave the Church.
He said: "It's simple: The Bible very clearly says that the ordination of a supporter of same-sex relations as a priest never please the Lord, and we believe in it."
The ordination of Rennie, who lives openly with his partner, the church of Aberdeen was named the biggest challenge faced by the church over the past 160 years after the split in 1843.
