Human rights and LGBT activist gathered near Obolon district Court in Kyiv to demand fair judgement for the Equality March attackers.
Obolon District Court in Kyiv had to consider the case about an attack of Equality March 2015, though the hearing was mover to 11:30 on February 12.
«Judge Bevzenko Julia is in the counsel room. She writes her sentence and cannot hear other cases,» says Judge Assistant Vitalyi Tkachuk.
Eight activists gathered at the Court Building, demanding fair trial and actual jail sentences for the attackers, considering the homophobic motive, as for now, the attackers are only charged with disorderly conduct.
Reminding: June 6, 2015 at the Obolon seafront about 300 activists had Equality March to support LGBT rights. However, the Equality March was under attack from radical activists. During the attack, a police officer was heavily wounded. After the end of Equality March young people also attacked and injured a few more people.
