What does identifying gay Saudi Arabians have anything to do with war or corruption?

WikiLeaks has outed gay Saudi Arabians, a country which regularly murders LGBTI people for their sexuality, in a media release being called ‘reckless’ and ‘dangerous’.
Hundreds of medical, financial and personal records of ordinary citizens have been posted to the web by the whistleblowing website.
In an addition to their library of leaked media release, cables from the Saudi Foreign Ministry reveal the names of teen rape victims, reveals people who are suffering from STDs, among other personal details.
One cable names a male teen who was raped by a man while abroad, while another identifies a male teen who was so violently raped his legs were broken.
A third reveals details of a Saudi man detained for ‘sexual deviation’, a term for homosexuality, who will likely be forced to flee the country or face arrest or even death.
WikiLeaks states their mission is to bring censored or restricted material ‘involving war, spying and corruption’ into the public eye.
