NTCU reacts to leave of Eurovision events organizing team: no time to sort things out
Organizers in Ukraine reported on their leaving on Monday
The national public broadcaster of Ukraine underscored the need for the active preparations for the international song contest Eurovision-2017, saying that there’s no time to sort things out. Representatives of the broadcasting company said this at a briefing today, "112 Chanel" reports.
National Television Company of Ukraine Deputy General Director Pavlo Hrytsak said that he had some discussions with this team, which was engaged in the organizing of the events on the venue of the competition of certain activities. He also said that there were no official statements of their leave, so it is too early to speak about forming a new team.
We will look for other people on the vacant positions, which will appear. We will ask the Council, in particular, the team, which was engaged in the event, whom they could advise", said the representative of the NTCU.
Note that the team of organizers of Eurovision in Ukraine announced the termination of work o February 13. The team believe that his proposed new governance structure of the Contest, the lack of transparency and legal obligations, the failure of the timing of the tender - interfere with the preparation.
